ADD FONTS TO PUPPY

Hello everybody:

Last thursday, one of my contacts, asked me about how to add fonts to puppy linux, because when using GIMP, he needed more fonts than the installed by default.

The process is not difficult, and with modifications u can adjust it to every linux distro.

First of all you must find the fonts u need.-

I recomend https://www.dafont.com/es/theme.php?cat=101

You must choose the font files u wanna download, and u will obtain a .zip file, where you gonna find the .ttf file (that´s the font) and some .txt file or similar to explain u something about this font.

Now you must extract the .ttf file and then add to the fonts folder, so it appears at the moment, ready to be used.

It´s easy, the only difficulty can appears when u must find the folder where the fonts are saved.

In puppy (memory) ROOT/SHARED/FONTS    (if it doesn´t appear, go to you windows manager and choose "show hidden" files, so u can locate it and search for your fonts  ... usually .ttf folder)
